South Carolina based pop/rock group Overflow has been touring and recording independently for several years. Ranging in age from 22-24 this young band got their start playing for youth groups, camps, and conferences. The thing that sets Overflow apart is their strong desire to get involved in kids' lives whether that's through music, a basketball game, or just talking. Their national debut is under the guidance of executive producer Mac Powell (Third Day), who is also writing with the band, and producer Scotty Wilbanks (NewSong, Third Day). The band appeared on ShoutFest 2003 to more than 30 markets nationwide, and will appear on Summer Jam 2004. |

This Detroit, MI band fought off small town cabin fever while making this CD while restricted to bicycle transportation, and even shared a lake with an alligator. But such ordeals are colorful stories for another time because these guys are simply thrilled (but not to death) with the finished product. “We’re more influenced by hardcore music than anything else,” Frost says of Search The City’s sound. “It doesn’t show so much because we’re pretty pop-y in parts. But collectively, we all love bands like Jimmy Eat World and bands like that.” So how would they describe their unique style? “We’d probably say progressive rock or something like that,” answers Frost. |

This California-based band has been compared to other rock bands like Anberlin, Skillet and My Chemical Romance. Their latest effort features songs that explore the intersection of faith and life, including “To Ask is to Receive.” |

High-octane guitars, spirited horns, orchestrated strings and jazz grooves are all employed for this highly refined pop record. |

Re:Zound continues to break down musical barriers between rock and worship. With their new release Abandoned to You, their heart for worship is more apparent than ever as they continue their mission to spread the message of Christ’s unfailing love internationally. The success of their recent trip to communist Vietnam in 2007 is undeniable. Playing in front of crowds that reached an estimated 30,000 live, and millions more over the government’s own television network, they made history by being the first artist to publicly worship God and present the gospel at a public event in that country. Add to that tours in other far away countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, India, and Brazil, and this band’s bold calling is obvious. Now, with the long awaited national debut finally hitting stores in the US, fans will discover why Re:Zound has had such a world-wide impact. |

What is the Classic Crime? History is filled with heroes that made the ultimate sacrifice and martyrs who died for their cause. Whether their actions were viewed as “criminal” in their day was irrelevant. From those fighting against injustice to those who stood up for the folks who don’t fit in, dying for one’s beliefs or one’s art is the Classic Crime. “Music has a profound effect on the listener. It even has the power to lift spirits and change lives,” reasons Classic Crime singer Matt MacDonald. “If we can see our music change a life for the better, than we’ve been paid in the kind of way we hope to be.” The Classic Crime’s follow-up Acoustic EP: Seattle Sessions threatens to change lives in such a way with the sheer expanse of its scope, conjuring the most brilliant & raw moments while alternately sounding refreshingly original. The vocals are unique, the lyrics are compelling, and the boys’ hearts are all in the right place. Tours with Mest, Anberlin, Emery and Scary Kids Scaring Kids certainly haven’t hurt. |

When you think of some of the premier bands from the last two decades, you can¹t help but think of the Pacific Northwest. While The Classic Crime claims a musical pedigree harkening back to the legendary Seattle rock acts of the 1990s, the band¹s distinct musical signature is certain to leave an indelible mark on the present day rock landscape all their own. Assaulting your psyche with a high intensity, guitar-driven rock-riff sound coupled with arresting melodies and lyrics from Matt MacDonald¹s prophetic mind, The Classic Crime's songs will leave you humming for days on end. |

So you think you know Todd Smith from his work with the critically-acclaimed, Dove Award-winning group Selah? Think again. "Alive", Todd's solo debut, challenges more than a few fundamental conceptions. A significant departure from the hymns, African selections and classic songs of faith so eloquently presented by Selah, Alive rocks with intensity-both musically and lyrically-and presents Todd Smith in an entirely new light... Steering clear of the safety zone, Todd goes eye to eye with his own doubts, writes bluntly and poetically about his dreams and fears, and delivers these songs with a conviction that's rare in any genre. Addressing some of life's hard-hitting issues, "Alive" explores what it means to be a man ("Lukewarm"); how to battle the temptation to stray from the arms of God ("Run"); the pain of disappointing your spouse ("I'm In This Love For Life"); and even the anger that can linger over evils inflicted more than a century ago ("Dear Leopold"). |

New Word Records power pop-punk band Stellar Kart began in a Phoenix-based youth group three years ago as a worship band. Since then, they've recorded two independent releases, peformed about 100 dates a year, covering a lot of ground in Arizona and southern California, and played with bands like Jeremy Camp, By The Tree and Seven Places. "This is definitely music for a younger audience, you know, like high school. They're more responsive to our sytle of music and the message that we have because we just went through that period in our life," says lead singer Adam Agee. "It's presented in a way that's cool and fun. It's music for anybody but it's definitely geared toward youth kids because that's where we started." The band's affinity for the youth setting is easily heard in "Gone Fishin" and "Student Driver." Songs written on location, they're full of catchy music with simple messages that are easily understood. In addition to its other touring, Stellar Kart has worked with Silver Ring Thing, an abstinence program. Silver Ring Thing puts on high-tech presentations full of video, music, comdey skits, light shows, the whole works to encourage kids in abstinence. The song 'Second Chances' came from working with this organization. |

"All The Houses Look The Same" is art and pop; it is a scene of lullaby piano and melodic vocal lines painted against a background of indie rock. Deas Vail combines catchy chourses and ethereal guitars to produce a sound that equates to the marriage of Coldplay and Death Cab For Cutie. The instrumentation of this record is beautifully crafted so that it resonates deep within the listener. Hearing Deas Vail live continues to leave concertgoers breathless; it is heard to believe that this sound has emerger from small town Arkansas. Though their name may not ring a bell yet, just wait...Deas Vail is here to stay. |
