As the five members of Bleach entered the studio in April to create their fifth album, their plan was to compose a positive themed project as a follow-up to their previous release, Again, For The First Time. But being faced with studio deadlines, and a lack of inspiration for song writing, Bleach was forced to rush their efforts along in order to complete them. And the end result, at the puzzlement of the band, was an album a bit darker than what they had originally intended. "An album once looking for any sort of inspiration now holds more than the band could have ever previously imagined. It holds a sense of understanding in grief, of value in life, and of the power of healing and hope in the trials of life," says Jarad of Bleach.

Few can compare to the life, luster and liveliness in Minneapolis’ Children 18:3. Though the band is punk rock by trade, the term itself can hardly do justice to the unique quality this act possesses. Featuring two vocalists- one male, one female- Children 18:3 boasts an armada of delicious melodies and a live show that is completely compelling in the most unkept, erratic sort of way. All three members also have the same mother. That’s right, they are a three-piece punk rock band of siblings. As a new signee to Tooth & Nail, the band recently finished its label debut with producer Steve Wilson (Jonezetta, Hawk Nelson) in Nashville. With a sound that can only be described as The New York Dolls meets Blondie meets The Pixies, it’s very exciting to see what will happen with this band.
